Yes we are all biased, but there are times when we need to put aside our biases and to collect even those things that we disagree with.

Personally I've always felt that it was, if anything, even more important to collect things we disagreed with.  I've dealt with the papers of an individual who seriously believed that poor people should be walled up and left to starve.  It's part of this person's legacy, which otherwise seems to have been positive.  I've worked with the records of a fire chief who was also an arsonist.  Again, part of the legacy and not something we have the right to whitewash.  I've worked with records of KKK-affiliated groups.  When the time comes for that history to be written, I want those records to be around.  We can't fight injustice if we've deliberately forgotten about it.

best wishes to one and all (what does he mean by that???)

Clearly something sinister is afoot!
